About Jaffery Sports
Jaffery Sports of Minnesota (JSM) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to organizing sporting activities for the members of our community. JSM provides weekly activities for both men and women of all ages, taking place in the Multi-Purpose Center (MPC) at Anjuman-e-Asghari. JSM also organizes local tournaments and larger community-wide events throughout the year. The organization strives to make physical activity accessible to all community members and operates on ideals of unity and sportsmanship.
Weekly Activities
JSM facilitates activities on a week-to-week basis. Activities include:
- Men’s Volleyball
- Men’s Pickleball
- Men’s Basketball
- Women’s Badminton
- Women’s Volleyball
- Women’s Yoga
- Kids’ Activities
The weekly schedule of activities is distributed via the JSM Weekly Announcements WhatsApp group. Anyone interested in receiving the weekly schedule can contact any of the committee members listed at the bottom of the page.
Tournaments
Other events organized by JSM include internal tournaments during the month of Ramadhan and other community-wide events. JSM also participates in external tournaments across the United States and Canada, including volleyball, badminton, and tennis tournaments. Notice of these events is provided via the JSM Weekly Announcements WhatsApp group. Anyone interested in joining the group can contact any of the committee members listed at the bottom of the page.
Masumeen Cup Tennis
We are so excited to announce that Masumeen Cup XIII will be held from June 21st – 23rd, 2024 in Minneapolis Minnesota! We are looking forward to have the opportunity to host you all in Minnesota!

Minnetober Volleyball

Membership
JSM is a member-supported organization. Membership fees are collected in order to facilitate activities for our members, and are used for items such as facility rentals, sports equipment, and event costs. The membership fee structure includes a $50 annual fee with the following monthly activity fees:
- $15 per month for individuals
- $25 per month for families
Non-members are welcome to attend events for a $5 per event fee. Payment for membership or non-member activity participation can be done via credit card, ACH transfer or PayPal.

JSM is headed by a committee of 5 members elected every 2 years. The current committee members for the 2024-2026 term are:
